Wow. That was quite a break. & not undeserved–but I’ll explain more about that later.
1. The seal of the water comforts me. The butter is not standing out in the open air as with most butter dishes that deflect most critters and some dust–nothing gets through the seal of water keeping our butter from changing color, scent or taste. It really seems to be doing a bang up job!
2. It’s classic style. Our bisque white crock goes with my vintage kitchen accessories very well and even if it didn’t, there are an array of other neat antique-inspired colors and styles to choose from.
3. And a third–it’s fun. Naomi got a kick out of filling our bell & checks it regularly to see all’s well…

As a new home butter maker I would love one of these pretties!
We don't eat a lot of butter, so the junior size might be best for us, but if the butter was always ready to spread, we'd probably use it more! Nice giveaway ๐
Wow, the video from Food Network was really interesting. Now that I've seen it I really want a Butter Bell Crock!! I love the Antique style ones – especially in the Sienna color.
Liked on Facebook and in real life. ๐ Watched the Food Network clip too. They might actually be a good Christmas gift. We're moving so I'm not sure what color our kitchen is going to be yet but I might just have to get one. I hate fridge butter!
I like the bread dish with the dips that sit on top with the cuttingboard – seems handy and delish ๐
