Recipe: LIQUID LAUNDRY SOAP

What You'll Need
- 1 cup of very hot water
- 1 cup of Dr. Bronner’s unscented castile soap
- 3/4 cup washing soda
- 3/4 cup borax
- 30 drops of lemon essential oil
- 1 gallon container

Directions
Instructions: Place borax and washing soda in a pitcher or measuring cup. Add one cup of very hot water and stir until the powders are dissolved. Pout into the gallon container. Add castile soap. Do Not Shake! You may stir or tilt the container back and forth to mix the soap with the powders but do not shake or it will make suds! Slowly add cold water until the container is full. Add essential oil. Gently mix again and allow to cool. You may have to mix before use. This will be a very thin, watery detergent but it works very well. It is better if you let it sit overnight before you use it. To Use: Use 1/4 cup liquid per small laundry load....1/2 cup for large loads.
