Naomi has taken to catching the chickens that escape they’re coop & cradling them as if they like it. I don’t know much about the thought processes of a chicken, but something about these eyes say, “no thanks”.
Regardless, the thrill of catching and cuddling can entertain her and Leviah for some time. And, the hens are still laying…

I have chased more than one chicken to death in my lifetime…. blush. The chicken does NOT look too pleased, huh?
So funny, because my children have been enjoying the chickens at some of their friends homes, and I often see the same exact expression 🙂
Ah yes. I'm quite familiar with that expression of "Rock a Bye Chicken"… (except it's usually me cuddling with one of the gals!)
