We watch TV, not constantly, mind you, but we do. Especially in the evenings. I often wonder to myself, if those women that I admire most don’t use their post-bedtime freedom a little more creatively. Sure, I’ll knit or sew on occasion while boob-tubin’ it, and if there’s nothing on, read blogs that inspire me, but we do watch TV most nights. (especially wed. & thurs.)
But, I saw this posted, and since I’ve recently been thinking about pulling the plug on evening viewing I feel called to participate & see what happens.
We even have this book, which ALSO inspires me everytime we read it…

I’m a terrible tv addict, and I’m doing whatever I can not to pass that on to my kids! I realized a while back that I do not want to look back on my 30’s as a time I was well-rested and knew what programs were on– so in the past few months I’ve skipped a lot of tv and survive on too much coffee and very little sleep. And I have so much more to show for my time! But I doubt I’ll ever be able to pull the plug completely– kuddos to you!
