‘What am I doing wrong?’, A Network Marketing business struggle, Part 3

Here we are at the third installment of ‘What am I doing wrong?’, A Network Marketing business struggle series. If you haven’t read the second part you can read it here.

Nevertheless, we will reveal the third C here in this blog post, which will help you achieve success in the network marketing business. So let’s get started learning the rest of C4 understanding.

We just released a book titled I Belong Here written by our very own Lacey Grim. The book is the culmination of everything we have made so far in relation to this blog so, give us a click and check the book!

We are sure that you are going to love and learn a lot from it!

Creativity in the network marketing business

This is new! Creative, meaning an awareness of creation.

Creativity = Innovation. It equals to putting your name on something, your spin.

I’m not talking about being artistic or any artsy/fartsy, necessarily. This is the act of building, taking a hand in developing our own future.

What is creation?

Let’s take a peek at why it is so fundamental.

CREATION. It’s what connects us to God. Creation (those first few chapters of the Bible) is the thing that made our connection with Him possible.

We were developed in His image, and creation is a fundamental part of our very existence. We must both connect with that very creation, and propel it forward by creating. When we don’t mimic that and create something, we interrupt the cycle.

It’s such a natural part of human desire, people get sucked into social media because it triggers a feeling of creation–it makes us feel like we DID something. Like putting our name on a post, wrote a paragraph about the weather, updating our status scratches the itch!

It can be a distraction from building something real. The same goes for video gaming–people become addicts because it FEELS like you’re actually creating something and we all need that.

Creativity also means taking a break

BUT, let me tell you about the multi-passionate element, the element where you use creativity as a way to step away from your business to work on other things.

CAUTION: When we create without ceasing, we ‘hustle’, push and try to force things that should flow more naturally.

That doesn’t mean don’t work hard! It means…STOP, SOAK IT IN, Contemplate, CELEBRATE!

One of the best things you can do when you’re stuck is NOT TO PUSH HARDER, it’s to take a step back and let your mind rest and recover (remember that part of the Creation story? Day 7?) But ‘Stopping’ is a whole other talk, I’ll leave that alone for now.

THEN try different things. One element of creation will fuel the other with new ideas.

It’s really important to get perspective.

Even professional artists are intimidated by a blank piece of paper–but, like walking or vacationing, it’s an inexpensive way to create the juices that pollinate your business.

In this ‘down-time’ you find a place that you can release the ‘stuckness’, and fuel the vision you have for your business–for all other elements of your life.

It doesn’t have to be pictures, it can be words. Journaling is a powerful act of creativity that I think is a missing element in our lives in general.

So what is creativity?

  • Trying new things that are scary, but excites you.
  • Developing YOUR unique business by adding elements that are solely you.
  • What are your pillars? Why do people call you on the phone?
  • Creativity is about taking responsibility for the growth of your business and not falling into the trap of saying that ‘If only I had the right upline’ or ‘If only I had the right system, network, etc.’
  • Creativity is accepting the responsibility for doing all of that for yourself.

If we go back to the farming analogy–creativity is planting seeds and figuring out how to keep them watered and weeded while we go on vacation, or how to keep the deer from eating it all, or how to fertilize…

So to help you spark your creativity here is a little activity.
